PLA-lined hot cups are part of Solo''s Eco-Forward offering. They are fully compostable in a commercial compost facility. Fibers are certified under the SFI chain of custody. The cups are also made with plant-based renewable resources. The cup is lined with PLA (poly lacticacid), a plant-based resin that acts as a moisture barrier to prevent leaking, replacing the petroleum-based lining typically found in paper hot cups. Rolled rim gives rigidity to the cup and ensures secure leak-resistant lid fit. One lid (sold separately) fits popular cup sizes for operational efficiency.
